Architect — fit every room into the apartment blueprint

Architect is a floor-plan fitting puzzle in LEVO's new Spatial category. Each round hands you the outline of an apartment, already carved into rooms — a bedroom, a bath, a kitchen, a hall — with a room or two fixed in place and the rest waiting in a tray below the board. You drag each loose room onto the blueprint, and it only settles when its shape lands on its exact home and its doorways line up with the openings drawn in the walls. Fill the whole plan and the apartment is complete, then the next one appears. Architect has 50 adaptive levels and helps improve spatial reasoning, planning, and problem solving.

How to play

A round opens with an apartment blueprint on a grid, divided into rooms of different shapes — rectangles and, on the harder tiers, L-shapes. Some rooms are already drawn in; the rest sit in a tray beneath the board, each a small furnished floor tile. Drag a room from the tray onto the plan. A piece locks in only at its own home region: the cells have to match exactly, and its doorways have to align with the doors already marked on the walls — so the right shape in the wrong orientation is still rejected. On the higher tiers pieces arrive rotated, and a single tap turns a held piece 90° clockwise until its doors point the right way. A wrong drop buzzes and costs a little score; placing every room completes the apartment. Each level strings several apartments together against one countdown.

What it helps improve

  • Spatial reasoning — Every piece is a mental rotate-and-fit test — you picture the room turned to the right angle and matched to its slot before you drop it, strengthening how you visualize and manipulate objects in space.
  • Planning — Several rooms compete for one blueprint, so reading the plan and sequencing which room goes where is the puzzle — improving how you organize steps and anticipate outcomes.
  • Problem solving — Each apartment is a fresh constraint puzzle where shapes and doors all have to agree at once — boosting analysis of challenges and finding solutions.

Levels & progression

50 levels, complexity-based — the same adaptive model as LEVO's Memory, Focus, and Mental Math games, not a fixed numbered rail. Difficulty climbs through tiers as you advance: boards grow from a compact 4×4 to larger plans, rooms multiply, L-shapes and piece rotation come into play, and the number of apartments packed into a level tightens from five down to two. Within a level it adapts round to round — a clean apartment steps the next one up, mistakes ease it back. The pre-game screen shows a rising rank: Novice, Regular, Adept, Master, Expert. A three-step tutorial teaches drag, rotate, and drop before your first level.

Questions & answers

How do you play Architect?

You drag rooms from the tray onto an apartment blueprint. Each room only locks into its own spot, and its doors have to line up with the openings in the walls — so the shape alone isn’t enough, orientation matters too. Fill the whole plan to complete the apartment.

Is Architect timed?

Yes. Each level gives you one time budget to finish all of its apartments; the harder levels allow more time but pack in bigger, more complex plans. There are no lives — misplacing a room costs a little score, not the level.

How many levels does Architect have?

50 levels. Architect uses LEVO’s adaptive complexity model rather than fixed handmade levels, and it lists three skills it helps improve: spatial reasoning, planning, and problem solving.

Five minutes. One game.
