Burnout Spectrum — a calm check-in on everyday signs of burnout

The Burnout Spectrum is a calm, research-inspired self-reflection check-in from LEVO that helps you notice everyday signs of burnout — and see where they sit on a Low-to-High spectrum. It is not a test you pass or fail, and it is not a diagnosis: it simply reflects back the patterns in how you answered today, across four everyday facets of feeling depleted. In about four minutes, you rate 24 short statements on how often each one rings true. The result is a gentle read on your current balance — a starting point for reflection, and, if anything feels heavy, a nudge to talk to someone who can help.

What it checks — the four facets

The check-in looks at four everyday areas on their own, so you can see which one (if any) is carrying the most weight — rather than a single overall label.

  • Personal Depletion — Your everyday energy — whether rest restores you, or you tend to run on empty.
  • Work Load — The volume and pace of what is on your plate, and how far it spills into evenings and weekends.
  • Work Meaning — How connected and engaged you feel with the work itself — versus going through the motions.
  • Relational Depletion — How much energy the people you work with or care for take from you right now (common in caring, teaching, healthcare, managing, and parenting roles).

Your result — where you land on the spectrum

You get a placement on a Low → Moderate → High spectrum for each of the four facets — a small profile, not one number and not a yes/no verdict. Each placement comes with a short, plain-language read: Low is about protecting what's working, Moderate is a course-correcting zone with gentle prompts, and High is treated as a signal worth listening to rather than pushing through.

At the High end, the check-in's own copy nudges toward professional support — if depletion comes with low mood, loss of pleasure, or hopelessness, a conversation with a qualified healthcare professional is the right next step. The result reflects the patterns in how you answered today; it points you toward help when relevant, and never stands in for it.

Questions & answers

Is this a medical or clinical burnout diagnosis?

No. The Burnout Spectrum is a self-reflection check-in for personal insight, not a medical or clinical tool. As the assessment itself says, it "is not a medical screening tool" and "cannot diagnose any condition" — the results describe patterns in how you answered today, nothing more. If you are concerned about your wellbeing, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.

What is the Burnout Spectrum test for?

It is a calm, quick way to check in with yourself and notice everyday signs of feeling depleted — across your personal energy, your work load, how connected you feel to your work, and how much the people around you take out of you. It is a starting point for reflection and a gentle prompt to look after yourself, not a verdict.

How long does it take, and how does it work?

About four minutes. You rate 24 short statements on a five-point frequency scale — Never, Rarely, Sometimes, Often, Almost always — based on how often each one has felt true for you recently. There is no timer and no way to fail.

Will this tell me whether I'm burned out?

No — and that is by design. Burnout is not something a short questionnaire can decide. What you get is a gentle read on where four everyday areas of life sit on a Low-to-Moderate-to-High spectrum. If anything feels heavy or persistent, the right next step is a conversation with a qualified healthcare professional.

A few minutes. A clearer mirror.

Burnout Spectrum is one of nine personality tests in LEVO — short, scored, and built for reflection.
