Attention & Drive Styles — how your focus holds and how your drive paces itself

Attention & Drive Styles is a 20-question self-reflection quiz about how you focus and how your energy paces itself — one of LEVO's personality assessments, in the Cognitive section. It looks at two everyday preference patterns: whether your focus tends to hold on one thing or range across several, and whether your drive runs at a measured pace or a fast, quick-moving one. You rate the statements on a five-point frequency scale, and it places you on two subscales — Focus Style and Drive Style — then names the working style they combine into. It's a mirror for how you naturally get things done: a style, not a measure of good or bad, and not a screening tool of any kind.

What it looks at — two styles, not deficits

  • Focus Style — Where your attention naturally sits — from concentrated (going deep on one thing at a time, suited to sustained, detailed work) to ranging (moving between several things and keeping threads alive, suited to breadth and connecting ideas). The ranging end is a style of covering more ground, not a lapse of attention.
  • Drive Style — The pace your energy runs at — from measured (comfortable with stillness, happy to deliberate) to fast (quick instincts, rapid decisions, a pull toward movement and variety). Both paces get things done; they just do it differently.

Your result — your working style

  • The Steady — Concentrated focus at a measured pace: goes deep, comfortable with stillness, sustains long, detailed projects.
  • The Scanner — Ranging focus at a measured pace: keeps many threads alive and connects across areas without rushing; covers broad ground.
  • The Sprinter — Concentrated focus with a fast drive: dives hard into what grips them, decides quickly, high output within a chosen domain.
  • The Whirlwind — Ranging focus with a fast drive: juggles many things in motion, quick and energetic, thrives on pace and variety.

The two subscales combine into one of these four named styles. Your result leads with that style — a summary, its strengths, where it works best, where the trade-off shows up, and how to set up your life around it — plus two bars showing where you landed on Focus Style and Drive Style. No style is "better"; each is a way of working with its own best-fit environments, and the result leads with your strengths.

Questions & answers

Is this an ADHD test or screener?

No. Attention & Drive Styles is not a medical screener, and it does not test for, diagnose, or hint at any condition. It is a self-reflection quiz about everyday focus and motivation styles — how your attention tends to hold and the pace your drive runs at — with no clinical meaning. If you have concerns about your focus, energy, or wellbeing, a qualified healthcare professional is the right place for that; this quiz cannot and does not assess it.

What is the Attention & Drive Styles test for?

It is for self-understanding. It is a quick, structured way to notice how you naturally focus and pace yourself, and to see which kinds of environments tend to suit your style. People use the result to set up their work and their days around how they operate best. It is not an evaluation, a fit-for-role test, or anything you pass or fail.

How long is it, and what do I answer?

About 4 minutes. You rate 20 short statements on a five-point frequency scale — Never, Rarely, Sometimes, Often, Almost always — based on how often each one is true of you. There are no right or wrong answers.

Is one focus or drive style better than another?

No. Both ends of each subscale are styles, not scores: deep focus and ranging focus each have strengths, and a measured pace and a fast pace each have strengths. The four combined styles — The Steady, The Scanner, The Sprinter, The Whirlwind — are different ways of working, each with environments where it shines and trade-offs to manage.

A few minutes. A clearer mirror.
