Memory Safari — a flash of animals, find every tile that lit up

Memory Safari is a grid-recall memory game in LEVO's brain-training library. On a board of textured safari tiles, a handful of tiles flips over to reveal animal icons — for barely a moment — then flips back. Your job is to tap every tile that lit up, from memory alone. It sits on the Memory shelf and helps improve working memory, spatial memory, and sustained attention. The reveal in Memory Safari is the shortest on the shelf: it's a snapshot game, built around capturing a whole pattern of positions in one glance.

How to play

Each round lays out a grid of safari-patterned tiles. Watch closely: a set of tiles flips open to show animal icons, holds for the briefest of pauses, and flips shut again. Now find them — tap every tile that was open. A correct tap flips the tile back up to its animal and scores; a wrong tap flashes the tile red with a shake and costs points, but it stays closed and the round carries on. There's no timer and no lives: the round ends only when every answer tile is found, and then the next grid slides in. Find a whole round without a single miss and the next board grows with more tiles to remember; mistakes bring it back down. Complete all rounds to finish the level.

What it helps improve

  • Working memory — The pattern exists only in your head from the instant the tiles close — it strengthens your capacity to hold and use information temporarily.
  • Spatial memory — The animals are decoration, the positions are the puzzle — it enhances recall of locations, layouts, and spatial relationships.
  • Sustained attention — The reveal is a single brief flash, and there is no second showing — building endurance in maintaining focus.

Levels & progression

50 levels of short rounds, untimed, no lives. Boards scale from small grids to large ones and the number of tiles to remember grows with them; inside a level, a perfect round raises the next board and a miss lowers it toward the level baseline. The pre-game screen shows the five adaptive tiers, Novice through Expert.

Questions & answers

What happens when I tap a tile that wasn’t lit?

It flashes red and shakes, you lose points, and it stays face-down. The round doesn’t end — keep going until you’ve found every tile that was revealed.

How long do I get to memorise the tiles?

A single brief flash — the shortest reveal of any game on LEVO’s Memory shelf. The tiles open, hold for a moment, and close; there is no replay.

What does Memory Safari help improve?

Its in-app benefit list names working memory, spatial memory, and sustained attention — position recall is the core of the game.
