Shopping List — catch what’s on the list, ignore the rest
Shopping List is a focus game in LEVO's brain-games library. A shopping list is pinned to the top of the screen, and groceries rain down toward a cart below — some from your list, many not. Tap the items you actually need and let the decoys fall past: every correct catch scores points and ticks up that item's tally on the list, every wrong tap costs you. The stream keeps accelerating as the level runs, so holding the list in mind while scanning a faster and faster cascade is the whole challenge. Reach the score goal before the timer ends.
How to play
The task bar at the top shows your shopping list — a row of grocery icons with a counter under each. Below it, groceries fall from the top of the screen, staggered so they arrive in a continuous stream. Tap a falling item that's on your list and it darts into the cart: you earn points and its counter ticks up. Tap something that isn't on the list and you lose the same points. Missed items simply fall away — there's no penalty for letting a decoy pass, only for touching it. The fall speed ramps up steadily over the level, squeezing your scanning time. Hit the level's score goal before the countdown expires to win.
What it helps improve
- Focus — Keeping the list in mind while a stream of near-identical groceries pours past helps improve your concentration and resistance to wandering thoughts.
- Visual processing speed — Recognizing list items in an accelerating cascade helps speed up how fast you interpret and react to visual stimuli.
- Task shifting — Your eyes bounce between the pinned list and the falling stream, matching one against the other — it helps you switch smoothly between checking and catching.
Levels & progression
50 levels: longer lists, busier streams, and tighter score goals as you climb, with the adaptive tier label — Novice, Regular, Adept, Master, Expert — tracking your position. No lives: just the goal and the clock.
Questions & answers
What does Shopping List help improve?
Shopping List lists three skills it helps improve: focus (holding the list in mind under a constant stream of distractors), visual processing speed (reacting quickly to items as they fall), and task shifting (alternating between the pinned list and the falling stream).
What happens if I tap the wrong grocery?
You lose the same number of points a correct catch earns. Letting a decoy fall past costs nothing — only touching it does — so a disciplined "when in doubt, don’t tap" habit scores better than frantic tapping.
How many levels does Shopping List have?
50 complexity-based levels. Higher levels put more item types on your list and speed up the falling stream, and the game labels your progress with an adaptive tier from Novice to Expert.
