Forgotten Operators — the numbers are there; the math is missing
Forgotten Operators is a mental math brain game that flips the usual arithmetic question: the numbers and the result are given, and every operator has gone missing. Faced with 6 □ 2 = 8 or 5 □ 3 □ 4 = 17, you restore the +, −, ×, or ÷ that makes the equation true. Because multiplication and division bind before addition and subtraction, the two-blank equations turn into genuine little logic puzzles rather than raw calculation. How to play
Each equation appears handwritten on a green chalkboard with a dark blank where every operator should be. Fill the blanks left to right from the four operator keys — +, −, ×, ÷ — and hit the orange AC key to clear the last one you placed (on a laptop, the + − * / keys work directly, with Backspace as AC). When the final blank fills, the game evaluates your expression using the standard order of operations — × and ÷ before + and − — and compares it with the printed result. Any combination of operators that makes the equation true is accepted. A correct equation flashes green and scores points; a wrong one flashes red, costs points, and pauses the timer on a review screen showing your operators crossed out above the intended ones.

What if two different operator combinations both work?
Both count. Forgotten Operators checks whether your finished equation is true, not whether you matched a hidden "intended" answer — any combination of + − × ÷ that produces the printed result is accepted.
Does Forgotten Operators follow the order of operations?
Yes. Multiplication and division are evaluated before addition and subtraction, exactly as in written arithmetic — in two-blank equations that rule is usually the whole puzzle.
Is Forgotten Operators a calculation game or a logic game?
