IQ Test 5

IQ Test 5 is the fifth of LEVO's five online IQ tests: a 40-question, non-verbal matrix reasoning test divided into five parts of eight questions each, taking 20–40 minutes. Like LEVO's other matrices tests, every question asks you to identify the rule in a visual grid and choose the figure that completes it — measuring visual processing, abstract perception, and spatial logic without relying on language. IQ Test 5 uses its own question set, distinct from Test 3 and Test 4, so it works as a fresh measurement even if you have taken the others. It is an online self-assessment, not a clinically administered IQ test.

The fifth measurement

LEVO ships five IQ tests. Tests 1 and 2 are full mixed batteries — eight categories, 70 questions, 30–60 minutes. Tests 3, 4, and 5 are focused matrices tests — 40 questions, 20–40 minutes. IQ Test 5 completes the set.

The fresh-form angle matters: retaking a test whose questions you have already seen tends to inflate the result through item familiarity, not ability. IQ Test 5's value is that its 40 questions are a set you haven't seen — a clean measurement for people who already used Tests 3 and 4, or anyone who trained between tests and wants to measure again on unseen questions.

Matrix reasoning: the skill behind all five parts

Visual processingAbstract perceptionSpatial logic

Every question in IQ Test 5 is a matrix puzzle: a visual grid arranged by one or more hidden rules, with one cell missing. You work out the rule and choose the figure that completes it. Matrix reasoning measures visual processing and abstract, spatial perception, and performance is also influenced by concentration, attention, and persistence. Because the format uses shapes rather than words, it is largely independent of language and schooling — the classic non-verbal format of psychometric testing.

The five parts

Part 1 8 questions

The opening block establishes the format: a grid, a missing cell, a set of options. A useful habit from the start — read the grid row-wise and column-wise before looking at the answers.

Part 2 8 questions

The format is familiar now, and the common relation types start to show themselves: progressions, rotations, and combinations of both.

Part 3 8 questions

The midpoint. With 40 questions in 20–40 minutes, this is where pacing starts to matter as much as pattern-spotting.

Part 4 8 questions

Sustained focus territory: matrix performance reflects concentration and persistence, not insight alone, and the fourth set is where that shows.

Part 5 8 questions

The final eight questions — of the test, and of LEVO's five-test series. Finish them and your report is generated on the spot.

Questions & answers

How is IQ Test 5 different from LEVO’s other IQ tests?

Tests 1 and 2 are mixed 70-question batteries covering eight cognitive categories over 30–60 minutes. Tests 3, 4, and 5 share one focused format — 40 matrix reasoning questions in five parts — and each uses its own question set. IQ Test 5 is the fifth and final test in the series.

How long does IQ Test 5 take?

20–40 minutes for 40 questions, organized as five parts of eight.

Do I need to take Tests 1–4 first?

No. IQ Test 5 is self-contained and scored on its own. Taking the earlier tests first gives you more points of comparison, but nothing in Test 5 depends on them.

How is IQ Test 5 scored?

Automatically, when you finish. You receive a report with your overall score and percentile that you can compare against your other LEVO test results. LEVO’s tests are online self-assessments, not clinically administered evaluations.

When is the best time to take IQ Test 5?

Whenever you want a measurement on questions you haven’t seen — typically after completing Tests 3 and 4, or after a stretch of training, since a fresh question set avoids the familiarity effect of repeating a test you already know. You can retake any LEVO test as many times as you want.
