IQ Test 4
IQ Test 4 is one of five full-length IQ tests in LEVO. It contains 40 matrix reasoning questions divided into five parts of 8, takes roughly 20–40 minutes, and produces a report with an overall score and percentile. Unlike LEVO's mixed-battery tests (IQ Test 1 and the Post-training IQ test), IQ Test 4 focuses on a single question format: nonverbal matrix puzzles. LEVO tests are self-administered online tests built on classic psychometric question formats; they are not clinically administered IQ assessments, and results are best used to track your own performance over time.
What matrix reasoning measures
Matrix reasoning is visual-spatial problem solving: each item is a grid of figures governed by one or more hidden rules, with one element missing. You infer the rule and choose what completes the pattern. It measures visual processing and abstract, spatial perception, and performance may also be influenced by concentration, attention, and persistence. Because no vocabulary or arithmetic knowledge is required, it is one of the most language-independent ways to measure reasoning.
Where IQ Test 4 fits
Start with IQ Test 1 — 70 questions across eight mixed categories — for a broad baseline. The Post-training IQ test is the mixed-format retest paired with the training program. Tests 3, 4, and 5 are the matrix-format series: the same five-part, 40-question structure with different question sets.
Take Test 4 when you want to measure nonverbal reasoning specifically, or to retest on fresh items: because it is a different question set from Test 3 and Test 5, a repeat measurement isn't inflated by having seen the puzzles before. One honest caveat: any self-administered test score varies with focus, fatigue, and environment — treat single results as snapshots, not verdicts.

Part 1 — The format 8 questions
A matrix item is a visual grid with one element missing; you infer the rule and choose what completes it. Nonverbal throughout — no vocabulary or arithmetic knowledge required.
Part 2 — The skills in play 8 questions
Visual processing, abstract perception, and spatial logic: comparing shapes, tracking rotations, and following progressions across rows and columns at the same time.
Part 3 — Why matrices are language-light 8 questions
Matrix puzzles are the classic format for reasoning assessment with minimal language and cultural knowledge load — one reason the format is so widely used in psychometric testing.
Part 4 — Pacing 8 questions
Parts are short — eight questions each — so the 20–40 minute total stays manageable, with a brief mental reset between parts.
Part 5 — Finishing and your report 8 questions
Completing the last part generates your report: overall score and percentile, ready to compare against your other LEVO tests.

How is IQ Test 4 different from IQ Tests 1–3?
IQ Test 4 is a 40-question, matrix-reasoning-only test. IQ Test 1 and the Post-training IQ test are longer mixed batteries — 70 questions across eight categories taking 30–60 minutes. IQ Test 3 (Advanced Matrices) shares Test 4’s five-part matrix format; Test 4 is a different question set in that same format.

Is IQ Test 4 harder than the other LEVO tests?
